FR 1100 is PC resins specially used highly-transparent halogen-free retardant. Its main component is organic fluorine derivatives.

Applications

Suitable for pure PC (or colored PC) resins to improve their flame retardant grade to UL94 V0 (3.2 mm).

  • Environmentally friendly: no bromine/chlorine/phosphorus
  • Low addition level: 0.08%
  • Less effect on the physical properties of PC: 5%
  • Good thermal stability: TGA decomposition temperature (5%) 480℃

Processing guide

Directly adding or making 1-4% masterbatch and then extruding by twin screw extruder. Extruding temperature is higher than 280 ℃
