Micronized powders, made of 100% PTFE, is a kind of free-flowing white powder. It shows good dispersion and is easy to disperse in solid or liquid materials. Designed for use as an additive in elastomers and plastics, PTFE micronized powder is usually used as processing additives and it can also work as a dry lubricants independently. It is inert to almost all chemicals and solvents. It also shows good electrical insulation, not absorbing water.
Mainly applied in thermoplastics resins, PTFE micronized powder can improve the lubricity and wear resistance performance. It can also avoid surface defects and scaling phenomenon of injection parts. It can be used for PA, POM, PC, PET, PI, PPS and PSF, and the finished parts can show excellent lubricating and anti-wear performance. Besides, it can also be coated on the surface of transport cans to form lubricating layer, which can ensure safety in storage and in transporting process. Moreover, it can also be used in printing ink to improve friction resistance, surface smoothness and glossiness.
According to different applications, we provide two grades PTFE micronized powder: FW 4200 and FW 4300
FW 4200, with average particle size is 2-6μm, is mainly used for paint and ink.
FW 4300, with average particle size is 8-20μm, is mainly used in the field of plastics.
